Designing and building cabinets are my favorite form. Plenty of detail and subassemblies to fuss over. After my first year or two I make all my drawers using dovetail joinery.

Temple Cabinet of Cherry. Alas, I neglected to allow side-to-side clearance for the pull out drawers. The drawers are now stacked at the top on wooden slides with spacers to allow them to slide out without interferring with the doors. I was not fond of the
top build, so several years later I made a new one.
